How to make your lash extensions last

How to make your lash extensions last longer

Having lash extensions look great when you first have them but How to make your lash extensions last is the question.

After care for individual lashes and flair lashes remains the same and therefore helping them last longer also applies to both individual and flair lashes.
These are the guides on How to make you lash extensions last-
  • Do not be tempted to play with them, they will feel strange but you will get used to them.
  • Do not apply your normal mascara to them (you shouldn’t need any anyway) if you need to apply silicone mascara as your usual mascara will cause them to break.
  • Try to sleep on your back or purchase a sleep mask, this should keep them flat and prevent them from tangling.
  • If you do find yourself in a tangle after a good nights sleep using an old clean mascara brush dampened gently comb through your lashes, this will also help spread them out should you have lost any.
  • Take make up off very gently and use non oil based make up wipes to remove any make up.
  • Beware that sun lotion will loosen your lashes if you get it on your eye lids.
  • Once you have had them on for a while you will have lost some lashes and can now use a normal mascara to blend the extensions in with your own lashes, this will prolong them needing to be removed.
When it is time to remove your lashes either go back to wear you had them applied or gently tease them out using an oil based rich moisturiser, do this with great care and do not pull on the lashes as this will remove your natural lashes as well.
We hope our tips on How to make your lash extensions last  helps.

How to hide imperfections

We all have  imperfections we are going to show you How to hide imperfections

If you have something on you that you don’t like? Read our How to hide imperfections

We all have some imperfections that we don’t like about ourselves, some you can’t hide others you can. We have found  some tips on How to hide imperfections that can be hidden.
How to Cover a scar in your eyebrow!
We have meet a lot of people who have had childhood accidents that have left them with scars in their eyebrows. We have found this handy tip on how to blend that scar into your eyebrow let us know if it works.
If you’ve tried filling in a brow scar without much luck, its because the skin on a scar is smoother and has fewer pores, so pencils and fine powders just don’t work very well.Tinted waxes or creams are a better-sticking option.Choose one in a shade that matches your brows, and make short, light strokes in the direction of hair growth. Finish by blending colour through the entire brow (not just the bald spot) for an even, believable shape.
How to make your forehead appear smaller!
If you think that you have a wide forehead, you could always have a fringe which would will instantly fill the gap between your brows and hairline. But if you’d rather not cut your hair, then you can always try this ! Apply a matte bronzer ( avoid shimmer as will only highlight the area’s size) and a big powder brush. Bronzer creates a shadow, helping a large area appear smaller, Swirl bristles into the bronzer, and tap off any excess to keep the shade light and natural. Sweep the brush along your hairline from temple to temple several times then in circles to blend.
How to make your eyes look bigger
Apply lightest shadow or shimmer to the eye  lid remember  to keep dark shadows on the outer part of the eye.If you wear black eyeliner, apply to upper waterline only, if you draw on the lower rim it will make your eyes look smaller.
To make your eyes look bigger why not  try  using  glitter liner under the  lower lashes as well using a flesh or white liner on the lower rim.
Curl your lashes before applying mascara as this helps open the eyes
As there are lots of ways to hide you imperfections we are going to leave you with theses for now, and add others at a later date we hope you have enjoyed these tips on How to hide imperfections

How to look good the morning after

How to look good the morning after a night out

We are going to advise you on How to look good the morning after a night outHow to look good the morning after

Ever thought there is no way I can leave the house the morning after a heavy night out well now you don’t need to worry as we are going to help you with How to look good the morning after. Keep your make-up light and natural, anything too heavy will look cakey and flaky.
Your skin – is often the first thing to suffer during the party season, besides your stomach and liver that is.  Applying the concealer and foundation with a trowel never really does the trick.  Use a moisture replenishing cream to pep your skin back to life and disguise the fact you’ve just crawled into work straight after propping up the bar.   For red skin which is normally a consequence of too much alcohol try using a anti redness primer.
There are a few ways to help with the  appearance of your eyes, firstly try using a cooling eye mask this will help with any bags under your eyes as well as refreshing them.  Instead of wearing black eye liner try using a navy eye liner to counteract the redness.  Also apply a highlighting eye shadow to the inner corner of your eyes this will widen there appearance.
Using an eyelash curler and a few coats of mascara will also really help open up your eyes.   Pop a little colour back into your cheeks with a rich blush.
So if your looking a bit worse for wear after a great night out then follow our tips on How to look good the morning after.

Taking care of your skin on a long haul flight

The importance of Taking care of your skin on a long haul flight

We are going to be discussing Taking care of your skin on a long haul flight

Taking care of your skin on a long haul flight is very important and we are going to tell you some ways in which you can do this.
To save your skin from the detrimental effects of flying, good preparation before you set off is advised. Before your flight why not try using a Vitamin A and Lactic Acid exfoliating treatment and a moisture rich masque.   In addition to this keep to a strict skincare routine and make sure this includes toning and moisturising every day.
At night wear a rich oil based night cream along with an eye cream and lip balm as your lips will also suffer on a long haul flight.  Do remember not to cleanse in the morning as this gives the creams longer to absorb into the skin.  An added tip is to exfoliate the skin a week before hand to remove any dead skin cells.  Don’t forget that all products that are carried on board with you must be 100ml.
Once your on the plane make sure you have taken all of your make up off of your face (foundation etc) this will help prevent the skin from becoming dehydrated.  Apply a spray toner, this will bring your skin back to its natural PH balance, use a multivitamin day cream followed by a  silicone based moisturising gel that will form a protective barrier over the skin surface (including the eye area) helping to prevent further moisture loss.
As we have said Taking care of your skin on a long haul flight is very important so we hope our tips have been helpful to you.

Sex and skincare

How do Sex and skincare go together

We going to look at Sex and skincare

Talk about feeling good, Sex and skincare go together, having sex releases endorphins that give you that special glow nothing else seems to replicate.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away, right? Wrong!
According to specialists , an orgasm a day keeps the doctor away (we’re sure apples are fine too, but we prefer this prevention method)! “An orgasm is one of the healthiest things you can give yourself each day. From a sexologist’s point of view it should be included in your routine along with brushing your teeth and washing your hair.”
One way in which regular sex helps your skin is by increasing your blood flow and decreasing stress hormones in the body, and those stress hormones would be bad for your skin.
It would be great if there was just one work out that could give us clear and beautiful skin, some studies have claimed that having sex an average of 4 times a week made women and men appear at least 10 years younger. Your most effective skincare boost is a regular dose of Vitamin S :) as well as a good  skincare routine, eating right and slapping on sunscreen.
A good nights sleep
Studies have shown that the hormone oxytocin and vasopressin are released into our bodies during sex which promotes better sleep. And a good nights shut eye is essential for the health of your skin since it helps in regulating your weight, manages stress and keeps you healthy.
Sex also increases  the production of collagen which keeps the skin firm and younger looking and prevents wrinkles and skin sagging.
So Sex and skincare go together and to stay looking young have lot of sex.

Natural looking make up

Natural looking make up tips

Today we are going to look at Natural looking make upNatural looking make up

Natural looking make up  is a favourite with  beauty pros. Have you ever noticed that when you see a photo of a beauty editor they always look perfectly un-made up and most of the time you can hardly tell if they are wearing anything on their face at all.  We are going to look at how to achieve this natural look today.
You should start with a primer, then use a light dusting of mineral foundation and concealer that match your skin tone.
Eye liner should be kept subtle, brown eye liner  is more subtle than black and using brown eye shadow to line your eyes gives a more natural look.
A quick coat of clear or brown mascara will give a less dramatic look than black mascara and when using just clear mascara try curling your lashes before hand.
Nude eye shadow or no eye shadow at all will play this look down a bit and also keep cheeks subtle with a cream cheek enhancer and just a swipe of lip gloss in a light shade.
The best way to create this natural look is to have a light hand when you apply your make up. You don’t want any specific features to stand out. That means keep away from the bright lipstick, heavy foundation and the blackest black mascara that you love. The biggest key to the natural look is to blend with make up that is sheer and soft.
Enhancing your natural beauty is the main purpose for wearing make up so why not give our Natural looking make up tips ago.

When is the right time for girls to start wearing make up

When is the right time for girls to start wearing make upYou may be asking yourself When is the right time for girls to start wearing make up

We are going to be guiding you as to  When is the right time for girls to start wearing make up

Many parents don’t want their pre – teen daughters wearing make up  and wonder just When is the right time for girls to start wearing make up there is no right or wrong answer some parents are just concerned that their daughters will look older than they actually are, or attract attention that they’re not ready to handle. And rightly so. So how do we handle this situation  banning our daughter from make up can be a mistake leading to them using make up behind your back and then having those exact problems you were so desperately trying to avoid. Others simply want their daughters to wait until they’re old enough to understand how to properly apply make-up and take care of their skin. Whatever the reasons, there are several factors to consider when considering  over the whole issue of make up for girls.
Instead of forbidding your daughter from wearing make up, you might want to consider allowing her to use products that will make her feel grown up, but that aren’t as obvious as say purple eyeliner. By suggesting that to get a flawless skin to use products r that aren’t obvious  such as  as a  tinted moisturise, encourage her  a black mascara  rather than brown and stress that it is all that is required to give that full lash effect and still look natural even introduce her to lash curlers all will help if you star treating a little more grown up. Even offer to do her make up for her just keep colours  a neutral tone she will thank you and you are less likely to have a problem later on with her wearing too much.
Deciding When is the right time for girls to start wearing make up is always up to the parent this is only a suggestion
