Eyeliners for beginners

Eyeliners for beginners

Todays topic is on Eyeliners for beginners

There are lots of different eyeliners but which ones are Eyeliners for beginners

Eyeliner is one of theses things that look great if you can apply it well but if you carnet it just looks a smudgy mess.
We have been wearing eyeliner for many years and don’t have a problem putting it on after many years practice. But some people just can’t master it so we thought we would tell you the best Eyeliners for beginners
First all if you are using liquid liner stop, as you need to be a pro to make this look good.
Soft kohl pencil eyeliner
Buy instead a soft kohl pencil eyeliner it can be any colour kohl, Kohl Pencils are a great choice when choosing eyeliners especially if you are a beginner or its just something you struggle with. One the best ones we have found is Maybelline kajal pencils, but Mac do a good pencil as well. Using a soft pencil makes it easier to apply and blend if necessary as It has a silky smooth consistency and has a matte finish. Kohl pencils are easy to blend, if you make a mistake just by softening the pencil line with a cotton bud or makeup brush.
Roll up pencil
Roll up pencil with a built in sharpener to keep the tip of the liner sharp and precise without having to deal with tons of pencil shavings. This liner comes in many colours to enhance your natural eye colours.
Felt tip Liner
Felt tip  eyeliner  are great for beginners since it goes on like a marker  and are easy to use. There are lots of different thickness of this type liner which is great but  it is best to test before buying though as some drag the skin and don’t show up very well. You use this in the same way you would  use a pencil just remember  they are not as easy to blend.
This concludes the  best Eyeliners for beginners tomorrow we will take a look at some others

Choosing a Bronzer For Fair skin

Choosing a Bronzer For Fair skinChoosing a Bronzer For Fair skin is not as hard as you would think!

Here are some tips Choosing a Bronzer For Fair skin

Having thats sun kissed look can sometimes be tricky if you are fair skinned we are going to help with tips on Choosing a Bronzer For Fair skin
Women with deeper skin tones look best wearing more heavily pigmented bronzers, but if you’re on the paler side, bronzers can often overwhelm your complexion. But this doesn’t mean you have to look like an Oompa Loompa to get a sun-kissed glow.
The key to finding your perfect shade is to only go one to two shades darker than your natural complexion. Any darker than that and you will start to look a bit of a strange colour
Fair skin looks lovely in sheer, beige-browns or in honey-toned bronzers with hints of peach or shimmery pink, by adding a touch of golden warmth will blend into your skin seamlessly. You could also use a mosaic-style bronzer that contains several light-reflecting pigments for a customized fit.
When it comes to fair skin, the “less is more” mantra is particularly true in terms of amount of product applied. But that’s not all. if you are are sure if the shade will suit you go for always go with the bronzer that’s lighter than what you think you’ll actually need.
Bronzer warms up the face, but by adding a touch of of peach, coral, or rosy-hued cream blush on to your  cheek bones  will add a brightening finishing touch.
If you’re still not sure and are worried that it will not look natural use a  face powder that’s one shade darker than your natural colouring is a great bronzer substitute.
We hope this helps you when Choosing a Bronzer For Fair skin for a sun kissed look.

Why do we get spots as adults

Why do we get spots as adults when we thought those days were over

Today we are going to look into Why do we get spots as adultswhy do we get spots as adults

We normally expect teenage spots or even into young adulthood but why can we go years without any and then they appear later on so the question here is Why do we get spots as adults.
Apparently male hormones are to blame which even women’s bodies produce.
Around 85 % of women suffer from acne as teenagers and it doesn’t come from eating chocolate or not scrubbing your face (or scrubbing too hard). It comes from the outpouring of those male hormones, or androgens, which occurs at puberty.
These androgens stimulate the skin to secrete oil. This oil then “feeds” the bacteria that cause acne, the name for this microbe is propionobacterium acnes.
The bacteria releases chemicals into pores, attracting white blood cells and causing inflammation. That is how you get spots.
As we age, most of us overcome our androgen problem as our ovaries produce appropriate amounts of estrogen and our liver makes proteins that bind to the androgens and render them less potent. But some of us are not so lucky. We may be genetically inclined to continue to produce oil, or we may develop problems that foster acne development, so this can be a recurring problem for some women.
If you suddenly start getting spots on your face, first think about whether you’ve changed your skincare or make up products recently. Cosmetica acne (spots caused from make-up clogging pores) is easily sorted once you change the product.
In Chinese medicine every part of the face is indicative of how well different organs of your body are doing. If your breakouts are every now and then then it’s probably caused by a short term hormone imbalance or stress related issue. Always remove make up properly and if you tend to get more black heads and little bumps under the surface, try changing your moisturiser.
So Why do we get spots as adults, what do you think about it? do you suffer from adult spots?.

Common make up mistakes

Today we are looking at Common make up mistakes

There are quite a few Common make up mistakes that people makeCommon make up mistakes

Common make up mistakes are just that “common” unfortunately.   So we are going to take a look at the top common make up mistakes today.
Over-powdering- Many women think translucent powder is their best friend and it is not. It will leave you looking dry, white and cakey and also settle in all of your fine lines and wrinkles, which enhances them, which is never good!
Instead go for a light powder and use it only where you need to, do not go over board on oily skin without using blotting papers first as you will end up with a chalky appearance. Control your oil with the right oil-free skincare and makeup products.
Drawing on exaggerated eyebrows- We’re not all born with perfect eyebrows but that doesn’t mean you should pick up the darkest brow pencil you can find and fill away. You’ll just end up looking really weird.
Instead use a brush and a stencil, measure your brows and brush against the hairs with powder eyebrow make up. Brunettes should use an eyebrow pencil that is one shade lighter than their hair colour, while blondes should fill in sparseness with pencil that’s one shade darker.
Choosing the wrong under-eye concealer shade (or illuminator)- This can end up doing the opposite to what you intended by highlighting the area you were trying to conceal.  Test the concealer on the back of your hand, if it’s too light there, chances are it’s too light for your face.
Gently dab the concealer to the under-eye area, working from the outside to the inner corners. Then even out your complexion with foundation.
Practicing bad bronzer application techniques-  concentrate on the perimeter of your face when applying bronzer, starting behind the ear and working down along the jawline. Lightly sweep across the forehead (along the hairline), bridge of the nose, cheeks and tip of the chin.
Putting on too much blush-  Always keep your skin tone  in mind as olive skin looks best with warmer tones, fair skin with pink or rosy tones and dark skin with plum or berry.
Apply the blush directly on apples of your cheeks blending back towards the temples. Make sure the blush is well blended and that it almost melts into your skin. When applied correctly, blush can brighten any complexion and make you look years younger.
There we are and that’s just a few of the Common make up mistakes peoples make.

How to avoid skin irritation after shaving

Today  blog is on How to avoid skin irritation after shaving

If you suffer from razor burn we are going to tell you How to avoid skin irritation after shaving

We are going to tell you How to avoid skin irritation after shaving  burn or bumps and dry, itching skin are common results from shaving.   Women and men both experience skin irritation after shaving, caused by dull razors, dry skin or skin sensitivity. Using these tips will help prevent skin irritation after you shave.
Wait until after your warm bath or shower to shave, the moisture and steam from your bath or shower cause your hairs to become soft and prepares your skin for shaving with a reduced risk of skin irritations making it easier shave off cleanly.
Hold a warm, wet washcloth to the area for at least 5 minutes if you don’t have the time or resources to shower.
Exfoliate, many people are guilty of skipping this important step. In fact, you should be doing it both before and after you shave. It may seem like a waste of time, but your skin will be smoother and less prone to redness and irritation.
When you exfoliate before, it aligns your hairs for a uniform shave and sweeps away the dead skin, allowing for a closer shave. When you do it after, it unclogs your pores (from the shaving and creams, etc.) and prevents ingrown hairs (that cause razor bumps).
Always use a shaving lubricant. Do not ever shave with just water. Soap and water is okay, but a cream designed especially for sensitive, to-be-shaved skin is best. And when you shave the same area twice, be sure to reapply.
Use short, light strokes. When your stroke is short, you tend to be lighter on your skin. If the stroke is too long, you feel as if the razor dulls and you  will temped to apply more pressure to combat that. But don’t as this just iritate the skin. You will probably be  washing the razor  in between strokes so be kind to your skin and keep the strokes short.
When you have finished shaving Rinse with cold water and pat dry. warm water will open up the pores, cold water will seal them off, cinching the deal. After the cold water rinse, pat the area dry. Don’t rub! Rubbing is just an invitation for disaster.
Get a new razor. Using a dull razor causes unnecessary irritation to skin  and instead of the razor  gliding across your skin, it will drag, which causes more irritation. You can reuse your razor a few times if you take good care of it. Make sure to wash it after every swipe. Don’t leave it wet though, as water can erode at the metal. We hope that this these tips have helped you understand,How to avoid skin irritation after shaving.
