Beauty bridal tips every bride should know

With Wedding season looming here are some Beauty bridal tips every bride should know

Here are some  Beauty bridal tips every bride should know

With the talk of weddings we have decided to add Beauty bridal tips every bride should know  starting with skincare tips;
Avoid Oily  products - If  you are getting married in  a foreign country, or you are lucky enough to actually have  lovely weather the day you get married .You may want to consider using as many oil-free products as possible — primer, moisturizer, foundation, etc. — and keeping oil-free blotting sheets on hand.
Primer is a must - primer will  make your makeup go on smoother and last a lot longer.
Applying foundation -foundations work better with a sponge or brush but definitely use either one or the other — never your fingers. The less you can touch your face, the better. (Bacteria, dirt, etc., can be left behind.) Your fingers can also leave behind fingerprints, If you use a sponge, apply foundation by stippling the sponge, not swiping it across the skin. This gives your foundation will look more natural it also blends it more evenly into the skin.
Put on Concealer After Your Foundation – your foundation  is designed  to even out skin and cover imperfections,so it is not a good idea to apply concealer before your foundation  as it could leave you looking cakey with too much product. It’s important to use a different kind of concealer for your eyes than for your face. It should be something creamy and emollient — not necessarily oil-free, like you’ll use on your face — so it doesn’t get dry and cakey throughout the day.
Primer for Eye Shadow -Using an eye shadow primer ensures smudge-free makeup, a must when you’re wearing all white.
Eyebrow Pencil Is a Must-Have – some women forget  this when they do their makeup, using  a brow pencil to fill in your eyebrow really frames your eye and finishes the whole picture. A tip for finding the right color for your eyebrow pencil is to always go a shade or two lighter than your own natural eyebrow colour unless  you want celebrity style eye brows.
Replace Pencil Eye Liner with Cake Liner - Once you apply  this type of eyeliner it will  last all day  it really won’t budge! A pencil can sometimes disappear as  it has an oily, waxy texture that can migrate down your skin. Because cake liner is dry, you’ll need a little bit of water to activate it — aim for a shoe- polish consistency. If you do decide to use a pencil, it is recommend to  sett it with some powder so it’ll stay longer.
Get Wide-Awake Eyes in Seconds -use a shimmer powder in the inner corners of your eyes before taking any photos. It makes a huge difference it really will give you eyes that look bright and awake.Use a brush with a smaller head to get right into the inner corners of the eyes.
Do Some Prep Work on Your Lips -Put lip balm on your lips before gloss or lipstick so they’re not dry and flaky. then fill in your entire lip with a lip pencil, which will hold the colour longer. For brides who just want to wear a gloss, prepare for it to fade.
Hopefully  if you are a bride to be you will  find our Beauty bridal tips every bride should know helpful.

How to help shrink pores

We fought we would have a look at How to help shrink pores

Todays topic is on How to help shrink pores

Lots of us would like to know How to help shrink pores  so we thought we would look in to this and see  how easy it is and what you need to.
Regular cleansing and appropriate moisturising   and yes, even oily skin needs moisture this will help  reduce the appearance of large pores. Start  you skin routine with  a facial cleanser that contains glycolic acid and salicylic acid will help unclog the pores, choose one that’s gentle enough for daily use and wash your face with it morning and night, Don’t forget to use a toner  as this often helps, as well. Toners and astringents are great for clearing away any residue the cleanser might leave behind. Being scrupulous about keeping your face clean is the number one way to reduce the look of large pores since it keeps them unclogged and free of excess oils. But this  doesn’t mean  scrubbing  your face with soap and water you this will achieve is dry skin .
You could also  try steaming the face to open pores prior to cleansing can accelerate the results of your skin care regime and help you fight the appearance of enlarged pores. But  were recommend you do not this if you have sensitive skin or rosacea as this will make your skin sore.
You can also  buy  pore-refining creams that can speed up cell regeneration. These topical treatments stimulate cell turnover to bring new layers of skin to the surface faster. They also help keep the pores clean, as the new cells form, the skin takes on a smoother look and over time the pores appear to be noticably reduced.
If you wear makeup on a regular basis,  you should wear e a lightweight oil-free or oil-contol product. You may notice that your foundation makeup sinks into your pores, causing them to look larger. To stop this  from happening  apply a face primer before adding your foundation. The primer forms a barrier that gives you a smooth surface and prevents the makeup from migrating into pores and wrinkles.
We hope this has shed some light on how to help shrink pores

Could lipstick expose women to toxic levels

Today we will be looking at Could lipstick expose women to toxic levels

Could lipstick expose women to toxic levels we are going to be taking a look at thisCould lipstick expose women to toxic levels

Could lipstick expose women to toxic levels ? we are going to find out in todays blog.
New studies have found that re-applying your lipstick or lipgloss could expose you to dangerous metals, including cadmium which is a highly toxic element that has been associated with renal failure. Scientists found traces of nine metals in 32 lipsticks and glosses. While none of the products had amounts of metals that exceeded public health standards, they could pose a threat depending on how much they are re-applied.
Researchers say that women using the products could receive as much as a fifth of their acceptable daily dose of some of the metals if they apply the products more than twice a day.
There is a debate of whether this is in fact a problem or not, with some researchers saying  “If this were the only exposure it wouldn’t be a problem, but when you add it to other exposures it is a problem and others say they don’t see anything that is a safety concern or anything that is new or unexpected.
A researcher quoted that several metals are elements of human nutrition, such as chromium. She said that the average daily intake of that element is 100 times the amount that is found in lipsticks and lip glosses. Titanium and aluminum which are also in the products are common ingredients approved by the Food and Drug Administration.
Studies have found that the average user applies lipstick 2.3 times daily and ingests 24 milligrams each day, while a heavy user applies it as many as 14 times daily and takes in 83 milligrams.
So there we go Could lipstick expose women to toxic levels you now have the facts so what do you think?

Tips for perfect eyeshadow

Today we are going to be looking at Tips for perfect eyeshadow

Having perfect eye shadow can be tricky here are Tips for perfect eyeshadow to make it easier

There are some simple Tips for perfect eyeshadow;  eye shadow looks of celebrities  can be tricky in the real world. The  application can become uneven, too dark or just too heavy if you’re not careful.
Blending-blocky eye shadow never looks natural, by using soft sculpted eye shadow brushes (rather than the spongy applicators that come with a new shade)  makes all the difference. To create soft eyes, rotate the brush in tiny circles to make sure each shade on your lid merges seamlessly into the next.
Prepping the lid - Prepping the base of your lid will prevent smudging and messy, unfocused looks. You can buy eye shadow primer, or you can simply start with a bit of foundation and powder. By getting rib of those greasy lids and your look will last from day  to night.
Choosing the right colours - Its no good looking at dark-brown shade if you have blue eyes. It will just make the colour of your eyes disappear. Instead, choose something that  matches your eye so if for instance you have blue then choose that are blue, bronze and light brown. Green eyes look great with light browns, dark greens and lavenders. If you have brown eyes, consider yourself lucky! You can pull off just about any shade. We have covered colours fro different eyes in an earlier blog.
Highlight -highlighting in the right places. Accentuate the brow bone and corners of your eyes with the right light shade can mask imperfections and brighten your whole look. You can also use white or nude eyeliner to counteract  any redness in the eye from tiredness or just a heavy night out the night before.
Careful with the shimmer -Shimmery shadow can accentuate creases and wrinkles a lot of the shimmer eyeshaows don’t do this too much now a days  just be careful with it , if you are unsure you could try going for a creamy metallic shade.  as this won’t crawl into those little creases that have appeared over the years.
Keep the dark shadow to the right – when using dark eye shadow be careful not to go too close to the lash line can make your eyes appear smaller than they actually are. Go light at the base and work darker colors up to your crease to create full, big eyes
Keep your brushes clean -  It may seem obvious ,but cleaning your make up brushes ensures the most pristine application every time. Each night, wash your brushes with either anti bacterial soap  and leave to dry naturally .
Buy following these Tips for perfect eyeshadow people will begin to think your going to a professional.

More beauty myths

Today we are looking at More beauty myths

More beauty myths

Here are some More beauty myths

Earlier in the week we looked at some beauty myths and today we are going to take a look at More beauty myths.

Myth: It’s good when your products cool or tingle skin.
Fact: This sensation is your skin telling you it is being irritated, not helped.
The tingling sensation is actually your skin responding to irritation, resulting in inflammation. Products that produce that sensation can actually damage your skin’s healing process, make scarring worse, cause collagen and elastin to break down, and increase the growth of bacteria that cause pimples.  Your skin may not always show signs of reaction but if you apply irritants to your skin the damage is still taking place and is ongoing, so it adds up over time.
Myth: Blackheads relate to cleanliness and can be scrubbed away.
Fact: Blackheads may make skin look dirty, but they are unrelated to dirt.
Blackheads are formed when hormones cause too much oil and dead skin cells get in the way, the pore is then impaired and the path for the oil to exit  the pore is blocked. As this clog nears the surface of the skin, the mixture of oil and cellular debris oxidizes and turns black.  You cannot completely scrub blackheads away. Using a scrub removes the top of the blackhead but this does nothing to the actual cause, so they will reappear before you know it. Instead of a scrub you could try using a well-formulated BHA (salicylic acid) product. Salicylic acid exfoliates inside the pore lining, dissolving oil and dead skin cells that lead to constant blackheads.
Myth: Drink more water to get rid of dry skin
Fact: Dry skin is not as simple as just a lack of moisture, drinking more water won’t make dry skin look or feel better.
The studies that have compared the water content of dry skin to that of normal or oily skin show that there doesn’t appear to be a statistically significant difference and adding more moisture to the skin is not always a good thing, if anything, too much moisture, like soaking in a bath is bad for skin because it disrupts the skin’s outer barrier (the intracellular matrix) by breaking down the substances that keep skin cells functioning normally and in good shape.
If all it took to get rid of dry skin was to drink more water, then no one would have dry skin and moisturisers would stop being sold. Keeping your liquid intake up is fine, but if you take in more water than your body needs, all you will be doing is running to the bathroom all day and night. The causes of and treatments for dry skin are far more complicated than water consumption.
Myth: Your skin adapts to products you use and eventually stop working.
Fact: Skin doesn’t adapt to skincare products any more than your body adapts to a healthy diet.
If spinach and grapes are healthy for you they are always healthy, and they continue to be healthy, even if you eat them every day. The same is true for your skin, as long as you are applying what is healthy for skin then it remains healthy. The initial use of a new product will obviously show greater signs of working but this will continue to work and will maintain the results of the product.
So there we have some More beauty myths, if you have any you would like to share get in touch.
