• Today we are looking at Makeup tips for women who wear glasses

If you wear glasses here are some Makeup tips for women who wear glasses

Women who wear glasses quite often make the mistake and  that their glasses will hide any mistakes they make with makeup  it but truth is it doesn’t, so today we are going to give some Makeup tips for women who wear glasses
No one’s really going to notice if your cat eyeliner is crooked on one eye behind your tortoise shell frames, right? Wrong.
    • The glass in your frames can highlight under-eye discoloration and darkness. So  try using a corrector and concealer underneath the eye and in creases. Apply corrector with a brush to the inner corner of the eye area, placing it only where you see darkness. Then gently blend with your fingers, don’t forget to clean your brush before before applying concealer.
    • The colour of your eyeshadow shouldn’t compete with the colour of your glasses. If you want to do the same colour as your frames on your eyelids, try a base hue that’s a shade lighter, and go a few shades darker for the crease colour.  You could then finish of the look brown or  black liner and mascara.
    • If  you have a mixture of strong colours on your hair, lips and frames, then its best to  keep your eye makeup simple. Go clean with only a little liner and mascara  using  eyeshadow isn’t necessary. And will end up looking just to much.
    • One thing to aways remember to make sure that your eye rows are well groomed  as theses will be enhanced by  the frame from the glasses if untidy or  drawn on badly then it won’t matter what you do all the attention will be on your eye brows and not in good way.

A face lift using just make up

Is there really sure a thing a A face lift using just make upA face lift using just make up

Here we are going to show you how to create A face lift using just make up

Today’s blog is going to be looking at creating A face lift using just make up so keep reading to find out how to achieve this.
We all have those days where we look extra tired and feel that we would like to turn back the clock a little but before you start looking up plastic surgeons, give these face lifting make up tips ago.
Concealer- Lightly apply with a concealer brush instead of your fingers. Your fingertips have oil on them and won’t allow for a smooth application. In curved, u-shaped strokes, blend to right above your cheekbones, going a little further out than those dark spots.
Reshape your brows -Eyebrows are very important to anyones face and frame the eyes so make sure you have the right shape and shade for you, using the right eyebrow make up and stencils will help and measuring your eyebrows correctly is a must.
Learn to contour- Contour a sharper chin line with a subtle bronzer that is two shades darker than your foundation or natural skin tone and use a contouring face brush.   Apply along the jaw line and under your chin to make your face look slimmer and the under chin area to make it appear tighter and firmer.
Highlighting- Make sure you highlight in all the right places to achieve a healthy glowing look. After applying your concealer and foundation, choose a bronzer two shades darker than your skin tone to give your face some colour. Apply on your forehead, cheekbones and along the jaw line. These areas are the main focus for your bronzer application, but don’t forget to lightly blend all over the face to keep everything nice and even. Then, take your highlighter and apply to your cheekbones. Use a light stroke and apply to the corners of your forehead, right above the outside corners of your eyebrows. With a very thin and light application, also apply to your nose, concentrating on the nose bridge. Start from in between your eyebrows, all the way down to the tip of your nose.
Go neutral with eye makeup- Stick to light colours and a more neutral palette that includes beiges, browns, and a black to help define certain areas. Highlight right below the brow and then accentuate the corners of the eyes. Bring the boldness to your eyelids so that it minimizes the focus on any dark circles. Use your medium shade and stay in between the crease of your lid and the highlighted area below the brow bone. Then, take a darker colour and shade on the crease line, blending a little bit above and below the crease to give your eyes dimension. Complete the look with liner and mascara. Stay away from defining lines under the eyes by keeping your liner to the top of your lid and mascara to your top lashes. For the finishing touches, take the black shadow and define the corners of your liner to really make it pop.

So there we are, have a go at creating A face lift using just make up and let us know how you get on.

Is bee venom mask an alternative to botox

Is bee venom mask an alternative to botox? What do you think?

Is bee venom mask an alternative to botox, lets take a look into thisIs bee venom mask an alternative to botox

In today’s blog we are going to hopefully answer the following question, Is bee venom mask an alternative to botox?.
Bee venom mask has been claimed to be the safer alternative to botox but we are not so sure about that as it is a tamed version of the Botulinum toxin, one of the deadliest known substances.
    How it works
The cream apparently induces a reaction in the skin that causes the body to believe it has been stung or damaged, increasing blood flow and collagen and repairing the area.  The active compound in bee venom does have anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which can boost the immune system. Since the venom is anaphylactic, it temporarily relaxes the facial muscles, breaking down cell membranes and improving circulation all of which can contribute to a tighter complexion.  The venom itself is harvested in a process in which harmless mild electric current is run through a pane of glass, inducing the bees to sting.
There has been a large number of attempts to use bee venom to cure things like  multiple sclerosis and arthritis but it has shown to be very ineffective.
    The Risks
There are serious risks in using bee venom with  those that are allergic to it being easily succumbed to anaphylactic shock.  With repeated use it could cause you to develop a severe allergy or even damage essential cell membranes.  Bee venom is also used to destroy malignant tumors, wow! not sure we would use it in our beauty routine.
So Is bee venom mask an alternative to botox? we are really not sure that it is a great idea but you tell us if you think differently.

When is the right time to consider cosmetic surgery?

    by di

When is the right time to consider cosmetic surgery?

When is the right time to consider cosmetic surgery?

Have you ever wondered When is the right time to consider cosmetic surgery?

Today  we are going to look at When is the right time to consider cosmetic surgery?

If you have ever wonder When is the right time to consider cosmetic surgery?  decided that perhaps you are too young  or too old then read on.
In the world of beauty nothing seems to stir up as much controversy as the topic of cosmetic surgery.  This mainly due celebrities who have distorted their faces  by having too much cosmetic surgery  and end up  looking like a caricature of their former selves. This prevent many from having it done  as they fear that they too would end up look very strange.
So should we just give in and grow old gracefully?
Many think we should forget cosmetic surgery or  any plastic procedures and instead age as healthfully and gracefully as we can.  Which there is nothing wrong with that way of thinking, but ageing gracefully seems somewhat contradictory to what actually happens as you get older. Think about what the sun does to your skin and damage it causes over time to your face and body. So any natural  result  is anything but graceful.  So although  cosmetic surgery not something that we should casually accept as inevitable, but of course, that’s a decision each of has to make for ourselves.
Cosmetic surgery is a personal choice, and it’s not for everyone. But, whether you’re pro- or anti-cosmetic surgery, the truth is that cosmetic surgery, along with  other cosmetic treatments, such as lasers, skin peels, Botox, and fillers, are the only ways to truly rejuvenate your appearance after the age of 50 (or before that, depending on the amount of sun damage you have). Of course good skin care plays an important role, but some signs of aging, such as sagging and undereye bags, cannot be fixed by skin care alone. Even the best skin-care routines and products have limitations, but there is no question that after a certain time, the combination of a looking after your skin with a good skin care routine coupled with surgical or corrective procedures is the best solution to looking younger, longer.
When is the right time consider cosmetic surgery?

You could consider putting off  cosmetic surgery until you really need it, but when you still look great might be the best time to consider having cosmetic surgery. Perhaps waiting until your skin is hanging loosely from your jaw, your neck is waddling, or your wrinkles are lying in folds like drapes certainly isn’t the ideal time to book that surgeon.
One key factor in having a procedure done sooner rather than later is that it’s safer to have surgery, when you are younger rather when you are older.  To begging with your skin and your body are better able to heal  quicker when you are younger. The older you get, the longer it takes for the skin to repair and heal itself. Having cosmetic surgery sooner rather than later also is less dramatic and will look more natural, as opposed to when you already look older and people have become used to seeing your older  you.
Important factors to take into consideration when considering cosmetic surgery.
The decision to have cosmetic surgery shouldn’t be made lightly, and  should never be a result of some emotional upheaval in your life, such as an affair or divorce; those are not the reasons, and should not be the time, when you decide to go under the knife. And you certainly should not make that decision just because you have a desire to get the latest celebrity’s “it” body part. Here’s what you really need to think through before you make the decision to have something done:
What are your expectations? -If you expect cosmetic surgery to turn you into a model or a sexier version of yourself at 40,  As you may find  that you will be disappointed.People who had the greatest satisfaction after cosmetic surgery are the ones who kept their expectations realistic—and didn’t expect their new face lift, to magically transform every aspect of their life. They also did it for themselves, rather than to please someone else.
Can you afford it? Cosmetic surgery is rarely covered by health insurance plans. There are exceptions, such as breast reductions to ease persistent back pain or eye tucks where the flap of the upper eyelid has sagged to the point of blocking vision, but that’s about it. If not is it worth the unhappiness it will cause in the long run if it puts  you in financial hardship?
Don’t look for  a bargain - as you may get more than you bargained for. Take your time! The good and the bad news is that there are dozens and dozens of reputable, talented cosmetic surgeons.  bUt there are equally  a number of bad ones who have slipped through the net reach and check medical qualifications we’ve also seen what can happen when surgery goes wrong don’t let it be you.
So the answer to the question  to When is the right time to consider cosmetic surgery? Is when you are prepared to research for a good surgeon and your expectations realistic.

    Stem cell cosmetics

    Stem cell cosmetics

What are Stem cell cosmetics ?Stem cell cosmetics

Today we are going to look into Stem cell cosmetics

Well there are many weird and what some may say insane beauty treatments out there but is Stem cell cosmetics one of them, we are going to find out.
The use of stem cells in medical treatments remains highly controversial, with detractors claiming their use is “playing God”.
Stem cells which occur in living organisms (including the human body) are different from other cells for two reasons. One, they are capable of renewing themselves and two, under certain conditions, they can be induced to become cells that serve specific functions for the organism. They’re important because of their regenerative properties, stem cells offer a new way to treat certain diseases, and are often used in labs for screening new drugs and other biological research.
The basics of it is that stem cells can transform into any other cell, and are used to make repairs on the body. The only stem cell treatment approved is a bone marrow transplant in the instance of leukemia but that hasn’t stopped many patients from seeking cutting-edge plastic surgeries, which the cells are drawn from the body using liposuction and then re-injected into the face, to repair wrinkles. Unfortunately, the procedure is in its infancy, and there is no way to predict exactly how the cells will behave.
The idea behind stem cells in skin care is that by applying them topically, we might stimulate the growth of more stem cells and as they can regenerate, they’ll keep our skin looking youthful and healthy. Most stem cells used in beauty products are derived from plants.
It is unknown if the stem cells work in skin care products, it is said that they can stimulate cell turnover and boost collagen but there is no hard evidence of this as yet.
Until there is any proven facts of  Stem cell cosmetics working and being safe I would stick to what you know.

    What causes brown spots?

    What causes brown spots?

We are going to be looking at What causes brown spots? What causes brown spots?

What causes brown spots? And you can avoid getting them.

So What causes brown spots? As its not down to just  to old age, this also  happens when our skin produces either too much or too little melanin. Melanin is the pigment in skin produced by specific cells (melanocytes). It is triggered by an enzyme called tyrosinase, which creates the colour of our skin, eyes, and hair. This  over  melanin production is primarily caused by chronic unprotected sun exposure or hormones (particularly during pregnancy or from taking birth control pills).
Melanin  is designed to provide sun protection by absorbing the sun’s ultraviolet light, this explains why darker skinned people are less susceptible to sunburn and the overall effects of sun damage. But less susceptible doesn’t mean immune from problems.
The first thing  to do to prevent or repair the skin of  brown spots is without question being smart when it comes to the sun which means avoiding or at the very least being careful when exposed to it and make sure you use sun protection daily(365 days a year) and be liberal with application and also do not forget to re apply often enough. Diligent use of a sunscreen alone allows some repair as well as protection from further sun damage, which is what created the problem in the first place.
Nothing else will help or prevent brown spots the same as protecting your skin from the sun will as sun exposure is one of the primary causes of the skin discoloration disorder melasma, and other treatments can’t keep up with the sun’s daily assault on the skin.
However you can still try other methods to help with skin discolouration which there are a few options, one to consider as it is very successful is to use a combination of topical lotions or gels containing melanin-inhibiting ingredients along with a well-formulated sunscreen, and a prescription retinoid (such as Renova or generic versions containing tretinoin, a type of retinoid). Depending on how the skin responds to these treatments, exfoliants, care products or chemical peels done by a therapist or lasers or intense pulsed light treatments can definitely enhance results.
What causes brown spots? we hope you have found our blog interesting.

    Vampire FaceliftsVampire Facelifts

Today we are going to look at Vampire Facelifts

Today we are carrying on with looking at extreme non surgical facials today topic is Vampire Facelifts

In this anti-aging age, perhaps it’s unsurprising that you can now have  a Vampire Facelifts considering  ancient, vampires are known to be associated with being forever-young.  In fact,  a vampire facelift is  not plastic  surgery, but is simply an unseal facial procedure that entails having blood drawn from your arm, then spun in a centrifuge to separate out the platelets. They are then injected into your face, which should stimulate new collagen production.  The correct name for this treatment is Selphyl, it arrived as a rejuvenation treatment  in 2009, and is now used by roughly 300 doctors nationwide in the name of beauty.
The vampire face-lift has been promoted  a lot over the last 18 months  through the media, some of which presented unproved claims that results will last two years. As ghoulish as the procedure sounds, some patients prefer the idea of using their own blood rather than a neurotoxin or synthetic filler to rejuvenate their face.
How long the effects of the vampire facelift lasts is unclear, as there is no medical proof  that it can last for two years. although a  Dr. Sclafani, who has injected roughly 150 patients, wrote in an e-mail that Selphyl can correct early signs of ageing like crow’s feet, loss of facial volume and under-eye hollows, you have to seriously want to look younger no matter what the cost to have this done. We are sure that like all of these types of  extreme facials there is a element of risk to infection and complications,  so you have to ask your self are you prepared to take that risk before parting with any money.
We know one thing for sure we would not have any Vampire Facelifts would you?

    Laser facial treatments

    What  are Laser facial treatments

Today we are looking at  Laser facial treatmentsLaser facial treatments

There are lots of different extreme non surgical facial treatments, we have already looked at chemical peels and today we are going look at Laser facial treatments. So what are laser facials and how do they work?
Laser treatments  basically resurface the skin there are two forms of laser resurfacing. The the first type of laser resurfacing creates a uniform injury to your skin, similar to deeper chemical peel or dermabrasion,  the second type drills tiny holes into deeper layers of your skin, this is called “fractional resurfacing.”
Many surgeons feel the first type of laser treatment gives greater control for the depth of injury than seen with dermabrasion or chemical peel. In fractional resurfacing, the majority of the skin surface is not injured. Your skin then tightens by connecting the dots, where your collagen contracts between the tiny laser holes. The benefit of fractional treatment is less surface injury. The risk is that there is a greater depth of injury. If there is a complication healing, there is a risk of undesirable scar.
Like the other resurfacing methods, the laser is effective in treating wrinkles, blotchiness or age spots, and scars from acne or other causes. It can be used on the entire face or specific areas. Certain other characteristics of your skin, such as its thickness and texture, may influence whether you are a good candidate for laser resurfacing. Some patients may benefit from the laser’s mild tightening effect on the skin,  this is particularly in the lower eyelid area where the skin often becomes loose as a result of ageing, as with any of this type of treatment there  is always an element of risk involved. Skin resurfacing procedures are generally safe when performed by an experienced qualified  plastic surgeon or therapist.
Here are some of the possible risks:
    • If you are prone to skin disorders, including allergic reactions or herpes (cold sores), skin resurfacing can cause eruptions of these conditions.
    • Tiny whiteheads may develop on the skin following some procedures. These usually disappear with use of a mildly abrasive cleanser, but occasionally  they may have to be removed by a professional.
    • Some individuals have a tendency to form raised or thickened scars.
    • But in rare cases some degree of scarring may be permanent.
    • Following all resurfacing treatments, it is important that you avoid direct or indirect exposure to the sun until all the redness or pinkness of your skin has subsided
With any of these types of treatments make sure you use reputable company, before having the treatment.
And this concludes our look at Laser facial treatments.

    What are chemical peels?

    by di

What are chemical peels? What are chemical peels?

Today we are looking at What are chemical peels?

What are chemical peels? and do they make a difference

What are chemical peels? And why would you want one we are going to be looking at what chemical peels are and what you can expect from having one.

    What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel involves the application of toxic chemical solutions to the skin in a controlled manner, this produces controlled tissue death.  As the damage is repaired by the natural healing process, the skin’s appearance is improved, how much damage occurs is determined by the nature of the chemicals applied to the skin and what skin condition the peel is treating.
There are lots of different types of skin peels and you need to search this before to make sure you are going to get the maximum benefit from the chemical skin. Chemical peels  are categorized as superficial, medium, and deep. Superficial peels do not damage skin below the epidermis, the most superficial skin layer. Medium peels may reach to the superficial layer of the dermis, which is  the deeper layer of the skin. Deep peels generally reach the deeper layers of the dermis. The depth of damage depends on the nature and concentration of the chemicals in the peeling solution and the length of time they are permitted to interact with the skin. Popular chemicals in peeling solutions include alpha-hydroxy acids, beta-hydroxy acids, trichloroacetic acid, and phenol.
What you can and  and cannot expect to get out of a chemical peel
As with anything it is important to know what’s possible so you can keep your expectations realistic and spare yourself  any disappointment. Chemical peels in any form cannot remove or reduce the appearance of blood vessels on the skin, they cannot change the appearance of enlarged pores, they do not have an effect on keloidal (raised) scarring, they do not work as a face-lift, and they have limited benefit for improving skin discolouration for those with darker skin colour it is best avoided. They can make skin smoother, help fade brown spots and an even out uneven skin tone from sun damage, and generally make skin’s surface look fresher and younger. Having peels done on a regular basis (say, every 6-8 weeks) will lead to collagen stimulation that improves the appearance of wrinkles.
Because this is a harsh treatment on the skin you need to consider the drawbacks with peels, but this is largely dependent on the type and depth of peel. Superficial peels have few associated risks but also offer less noticeable results. Some redness, swelling, and increased skin sensitivity can occur with superficial peels. You may also experience a period of intense flaking as the old, damaged skin is replaced by fresh, smooth new skin.
When significant results are desired, complications increase dramatically . Medium and deep peel complications can include scarring, infection, temporary or permanent changes in skin colour (this is especially true for deeper peels), and cold sore breakouts for  especially if you prone to them. For these reasons, many cosmetic dermatologists are forgoing deeper peels in favor of what can be accomplished more safely with light-emitting and laser devices, you may want to consider one of theses options first and risks are less.
We hope you have a better under standing of What are chemical peels?

    The best exfoliant for you

Which is The best exfoliant for you

How to choose The best exfoliant for you

We have looked at the importance of exfoliating but which is The best exfoliant for you.The best exfoliant for you
There are two kinds of exfoliation, manual and chemical, manual exfoliation involves using an abrasive scrub
Hope by up cialis cheap online outdoors this cotton alcohol viagra young men the Wal-mart than. Ready day http://augustasapartments.com/qhio/cialis-purchase-online honest. You weird. or a skin brush to get rid of dead cells, while chemical exfoliation occurs when you apply a product that contains ingredients that dissolve those dead skin cells without scrubbing.
Exfoliators lift up and get rid of dead skin cells that can clog pores and leave skin looking dull. Getting rid of dead cells encourages cell renewal, which helps the skin to absorb products like moisturisers and anti aging serums.
Here are 3 types of exfoliants you can use-
Scrubs: These products contain grainy particles that physically remove dead skin cells as you move the product around your face. These can range from large grains (salt or sugar scrubs) to a very fine texture you can barely feel (very fine grains of ground rice). Some products contain gentle exfoliating beads.
Chemicals: These exfoliants contain alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) which are substances found in fruit these loosen and dissolve the dead skin cells rather than scrub them away, they target deeper layers of skin by sinking into it which scrubs don’t do as they focus on the surface cells only.
Enzymes: These products dissolve the dead skin cells without any scrubbing, making them suitable for anyone with sensitive skin or rosacea. Look for products that contain papaya or pineapple.
So for different skin types there are different exfoliants just like with cleansers, toners and moisturisers.
Oily skin types- Go for a scrub, which also helps remove oil, dirt, makeup and other debris that can further clogged pores.
Dry skin types- A chemical exfoliator will help firm and tighten the skin and minimise fine lines and wrinkles.
Sensitive skin types- Try an enzyme exfoliator, which dissolves dead skin without scrubbing.
You should exfoliate at least once a week and can exfoliate up to 3 times a week if you do not have sensitive skin, always remember to be gentle especially when using a scrub and discontinue use of the product if you have any reaction to it.
So there we go, hopefully you now know which The best exfoliant for you is.
