Today’s blog is all about Matching your makeup to your outfit

We are looking at Matching your makeup to your outfit today and what make up is best for certain outfits.
Matching your makeup to your outfit has always been thought of as a major beauty mistake but there is an exception to the rule! It’s okay to match your makeup colour to your outfit with a subtle dash of eyeliner but wearing the same coloured makeup as your outfit colour all over your eyes is overkill.  When thinking of what colour eyeshadow or lipstick to wear think about what the complementary colours are instead and if your not sure then you could look up a colour wheel to help you, we have also given you some ideas below.
If you are wearing orange, red or magenta then go for a neutral eye shadow on the lids. You can’t go wrong with the shades of taupe, honey, plum and brown. Don’t clash the lip colour with the clothes and blush. Go for golden colours on your eyelids if your outfit is red with gold and if your outfit is orange then try a reddish brown eyeliner around the lash line, also ivy shadow on the lids and a darker shadow like copper is good when wearing orange.
When wearing a light outfit it is best to stick to dark lined eyes and a bit of neutral  lip gloss as this will go very well with light colours. The dark colours will add depth and intensity and the light colours will add softness and glow.
Black is a very common colour to wear and we often wear it on a night out, every girl should have a LBD (little black dress).   You can get away with almost anything when wearing black, you can choose vibrant colours but remember not too over do it by having bright lips and bright eye shadow, just stick to one or the other, you can also try a smoky effect on the eyes using a charcoal pencil.
A deep brown lipstick will look good with a green outfit and try using a neutral eyeshadow with matching green kohl and liquid liner, it will give you a stunning look. A good trick to stand out in the crowd is to gently swipe a white or vanilla highlighter with a green eye shadow.  Peach is a good colour to go for if you want to wear some blush.
Pink is a very popular girly colour. Shades of pink and lavender lipstick can look good with pink outfits. Try a bit of lilac on your cheeks and use a baby blue eye shadow for a contrast look.
If you are wearing a yellow or brown outfit then go for a  golden eye shadow or a deep brown lipstick with a hint of orange you will notice that it works wonders for you. Also Use a peach coloured blush.
There we are some tips on Matching your makeup to your outfit.
