Matching your eyebrows– You shouldn’t worry about trying to match your eyebrows as they are sisters not twins, So they will not look exactly the same. Many ladies make the mistake of plucking a hair from one brow and then trying to match it to the other. This could leave you with over-plucked brows, which is not a good look.
Alternative to brow serum– As an alternative to brow serum you can use castor oil instead, so you don’t even need to leave the house (as long as you have caster oil that is). Wash out an empty mascara bottle and wand, then use a funnel to pour the oil into the mascara bottle, you can then use the clean mascara wand to apply it to your brows. This can also be used on your lashes.
Don’t magnify– When you pluck, don’t use a magnifying mirror, which can skew your perspective. As your brows grow, hide stubble with a matte eyeshadow that matches your skin tone. Also be very sparing when applying creams or sunscreen on the skin in that area it can clog the hair follicles.
Measuring your brows– When shaping your eyebrows or applying makeup to them it is important to measure them correctly or you could end up with a bit of a disaster. We too often see people who do not know how to do this and it is quite simple once you know.
You can measure where your eyebrow starts by placing a make up brush or your tweezers straight down from the inner corner of your eye and making sure it is in line with the side of your nose.
To measure where your eyebrow should finish you can use the brush or tweezers again and line them up with the bottom corner of your nose going diagonally to the outer corner of your eye.
Get bold brows– To get the look of thick, bold eyebrows easily, all you need is a brow brush, a brown eyeshadow and some water. Dip the brush in the water and then put it in the brown eye shadow. You can use it to fill in your eyebrows for a bold and natural look.
