The best exfoliant for you

Which is The best exfoliant for you

How to choose The best exfoliant for you

We have looked at the importance of exfoliating but which is  The best exfoliant for you.The best exfoliant for you
There are two kinds of exfoliation, manual and chemical,  manual exfoliation involves using an abrasive scrub or a skin brush to get rid of dead cells, while chemical exfoliation occurs when you apply a product that contains ingredients that dissolve those dead skin cells without scrubbing.
Exfoliators lift up and get rid of dead skin cells that can clog pores and leave skin looking dull. Getting rid of dead cells encourages cell renewal, which helps the skin to absorb products like moisturisers and anti aging serums.
Here are 3 types of exfoliants you can use-
Scrubs: These products contain grainy particles that physically remove dead skin cells as you move the product around your face. These can range from large grains (salt or sugar scrubs) to a very fine texture you can barely feel (very fine grains of ground rice). Some products contain gentle exfoliating beads.
Chemicals: These exfoliants contain alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) which are substances found in fruit these loosen and dissolve the dead skin cells rather than scrub them away, they target deeper layers of skin by sinking into it which scrubs don’t do as they  focus on the surface cells only.
Enzymes: These products dissolve the dead skin cells without any scrubbing, making them suitable for anyone with sensitive skin or rosacea. Look for products that contain papaya or pineapple.
So for different skin types there are different exfoliants just like with cleansers, toners and moisturisers.
Oily skin types- Go for a scrub, which also helps remove oil, dirt, makeup and other debris that can further clogged pores.
Dry skin types-  A chemical exfoliator will help firm and tighten the skin and minimise fine lines and wrinkles.
Sensitive skin types-  Try an enzyme exfoliator, which dissolves dead skin without scrubbing.
You should exfoliate at least once a week and can exfoliate up to 3 times a week if you do not have sensitive skin, always remember to be gentle especially when using a scrub and discontinue use of the product if you have any reaction to it.
So there we go, hopefully you now know which The best exfoliant for you is.
