Beauty gimmicks
Do you know the latest Beauty gimmicks
We are going to be taking a look at some Beauty gimmicks
You may be surprised to learn that there are quite a few Beauty gimmicks and we are going to take a look at a few of them.
There’s never a shortage of weird and wonderful new products in the beauty industry.
The latest product is a make-up made from paper. Yes you heard me right it looks like blotting paper but these new foundation, highlighter and blush paper from Mai Couture are tipped to be the next big thing in beauty.
Press on eye shadow is a onetime-use eye shadow that is transferred onto the skin by pressing it onto the eyelids. It comes readily prepared on a single-use sheet or sponge. You would press the sheet or sponge against the eyelid, transferring the eye shadow onto the skin in the process. This usually is followed by another powder that holds the eyeshadow in place and discourages smudging.
Press on eye shadow has mixed reviews, some people say it is great for saving time but you need time initially to master the technique. Others say it is a total waste of time and doesn’t work as they don’t fit to the eye lid properly.
Magic wands are another beauty gimmick and they come in many shapes and forms, from rotating brushes to vibrating brushes. There are a few rotating brushes on the market but a vibrating brush, this is news to us. We personally think this could work though as its nearer to the motion you should normally be using when applying your mascara, which a rotating brush is not but thats just what we think.
Wow this one is interesting- the ColorShine Multifunction portable three dimensional shape make up eye lash card-
This product claims to be your must have make up product. It is a plastic three dimensional card that you would use to heat and form a perfect curl by simply inserting your eyelash into the Lash Card. Apparently you will find it is easy to use, and it will bring much convenience to you! hmmm we’re not so sure about this one but seems to be a variation on heated eye lash curlers.
Electric threading hair remover- this sounds scaring to us but we have not tried it so maybe its not. Electric Threading is the traditional art of hair threading made easy and can be used on the upper lip, chin, sideburns, cheeks and eyebrows, it even catches fine hairs which waxing and tweezers fail to remove effectively. This is claiming to remove the hair in same way that it is manually removed with thread, we’re not sure it would be that effective.
Have you tried any of these Beauty gimmicks then why not let us know what your experience was.
