What causes eye brow hair loss is a topic that doesn’t get addressed often

So today we are going to be looking at What causes eye brow hair loss

We have decided that todays blog is going to be on What causes eye brow hair loss , as its is not nessarly  just from over plucking or old age that cause this problem, it can also be down to a medical reason.
Thinning eyebrows is a condition medically termed a  superciliary madarosis, which comes from the Greek word madaros for “bald.” Losing your eyebrows can be distressing due to the cosmetic importance of eyebrows,  to the face. Determining what is causing  your  eyebrows  to thin is integral to treatment as it can be a symptom of an underlying hormonal imbalance, nutrient deficiency, allergy, autoimmune disorder or a response to medications. Thinning may appear on one  or both, eyebrows and can also be  in patches.
Nutrient Deficiency
Deficiencies in nutrients such as vitamins A, E, D, iron, B vitamins and L-lysine may cause thinning eyebrows as well as thinning and weak hair. Fat-soluble vitamins A, E, and D all help to stimulate and support healthy hair growth and are found in spinach, carrots, bell peppers, kale, sunflower seeds, almonds, fish and eggs.
Atopic Dermatitis
Atopic dermatitis, commonly referred to as eczema, can be found anywhere on the body, including on the skin underneath the eyebrows. It involves red, itchy patches that can become inflamed and lead to thinning hair over the patches.
Hypothyroidism
Hypothyroidism, or an underactive thyroid gland, adversely affects scalp and body hair growth. Thinning of the eyebrows can be a late sign of hypothyroidism.
Medication
Some medications  like birth control pills or hormone tablets. such as Danazol, BCPs, Progestesrone, Diethystilbesterol (DES), HCG (pregnancy hormone)   can also be responsible   for eyebrow hair loss.
