A clean workout

A clean workout

Do you have A clean workoutA clean workout

A clean workout is very important

Do you make sure you are having A clean workout, well if not then you really should be.
We have always focused on washing our faces after we workout rather than before. This is because we worry about the effects of sweat sitting on our skin, which can clog pores and result in breakouts but it turns out sweat isn’t to blame, hygiene is.
If you do not wash your face before working out, then you are sweating up against all of the oil, dirt, debris and makeup that is on your skin, which can clog your pores. Also if you use your hands or a towel to wipe sweat away from your face, it can push oil, dirt and debris further into your pores and lead to larger pores, collagen breakdown and future breakouts, which we are pretty sure you do not want.
Sweat is one of the few mechanisms our bodies have to rid themselves of toxins so it is not all that bad after all.  The problems only start when the toxins sit on your skin longer than they should. If most of the toxins were cleaned off beforeyou worked out then sweat would mainly consist of salt and water, which would purify rather than irritate the skin. All you would have to do is splash your face with water before your workout and go.
After your workout it is best to use very little product on your face and avoid any thick or rich moisturisers as when you increase your metabolism, the oil glands have a natural desire to secrete. Skin has yet to balance itself, so putting anything on right away may block the pores. Wait until your skin has returned to room temperature to apply moisturiser and makeup. When skin is overheated, it can cause redness even when skin is normally not prone to this condition.
So if you’re not having A clean workout then now is the time to start.
