Lets take a look at How to wear pastel make up

If you fancy trying something a bit different then take a look at our blog today on How to wear pastel make up.
If you want to play it safe then try using lilac or soft pink eye shadow and when you pluck up the courage to try something a bit more vibrant, go for seafoam green and sky blue. Make sure you blend out the edges of your shadow and be sure that no harsh colour changes are visible. Try applying highlighter along your brow bone to give your eyes definition and complement this pretty, fairy-like look. If you just want a little pastel then try teal or light blue eyeliner.
When it comes to your lips sometimes subtle is the way to go, so for a fresh and natural look, pop on a little pastel lip gloss.
It is good to experiment with pastel make up but just like with all make up you must make sure you get the balance right. If you’re playing up your eyes, balance out the colour by going subtle and neutral with your cheeks and lips. If you’re going bright with your lips, try a soft peach or dusty pink on your eyelids to keep your face balanced and to avoid looking like a clown. If you have fair skin then when you wear pastel eye shadow make sure you add some definition and colour to your lashes with a dark brown or black mascara as this will keep you from looking washed out.
As we mentioned above different skin tones suit different pastel colours. If you get the colours wrong for your skin tone it can look really awful.  For example, if you have light skin with red undertones, blues are going to work well with your skin tone, so try a pretty sky blue or teal. If you’re olive-toned, try a pastel variation of purple or green.
Don’t be afraid to use yellow make up.  It can really brighten up your look, if you are a bit worried then just use a little yellow to line your lower lash line, this will add a little sunshine to your face.
