What wrinkles mean

We are now looking into What wrinkles mean

What wrinkles mean

So today we move onto What wrinkles mean

Yesterday we looked at how wrinkles form and now today we move onto What wrinkles mean.
As we get older and get wrinkles we generally want to avoid them as much as possible.  Cutting down on alcohol, protecting ourselves in the sun and not smoking will help keep wrinkles away.
These things are helpful to avoid wrinkles but have you ever thought that your wrinkles may be saying something about your health.
Research has discovered that facial wrinkles are connected to the aging of our brain.  Studies have shown the more wrinkle that we have the more impact it has on the aging of our brain.  Further research has found that looking at the state of our skin can tell alot about the health of our brain.  The rate our brain ages depends on external factors and genetics.  Hormones play an important role in keeping our brain and skin healthy, having a deficiency in certain hormones can be linked to varies forms of cognitive impairment and dementia.
By not using sunscreen we disturb our immune system which triggers inflammation which damages the skin and ages the brain, remember that the skin and brain cells come from the same embryonic tissue which is why they age at the same rate.  However physical and mental exercises can be used to keep our brain and skin healthy.  It is advised that you should try to avoid toxins, stress and alcohol, this will slow the effect of aging not just our skin but our brains as well.
We will be looking at more health issues connected to What wrinkles mean  in future blogs.
